Front Desk & Transitions4Women Support – Volunteers in this category will greet visitors, answer phones, assist clients by providing information, maintain documentation, process client requests, and process incoming donations.  They will also screen clients for eligibility for pantry products and help with the distribution of these items.  

Clerical Support – These volunteers will help with data entry, filing, making copies, and assisting the staff with special projects.  These volunteers may also work in our Women2Work clothing closet or pantry by sorting donations, cleaning, stocking shelves, etc.

Mentors – Our mentors will offer one-on-one career guidance, advice and leadership to participants in the Women2Work Workforce Development program. Working with the Workforce Development Coordinator, mentors will develop goal plans, evaluate skills and monitor progress toward goals.

Special Events Support – Volunteers will be asked to assist in special events for WRC which might include set up & take down, registration and representing & promoting WRC.

Fundraising & Marketing Support – Volunteers will assist in any fundraising events as well as making contacts within the community and raising awareness of WRC’s mission.  This could include participation in our Speaker’s Bureau and other marketing initiatives.

Program/Workshop Facilitators – Volunteers will develop and facilitate a variety of special enrichment programs focusing on personal growth, health and wellness and professional development.
