Cindy Rose, Executive Director (828) 322-6333 Ext. 202 director@wrchickory.org Cindy was born in Catawba County and now resides in Hickory with her husband, Alvin and Boston Terrier, Jackson.  She has devoted the majority of her career to the banking industry in Hickory, Newton and Maiden. A graduate of St. Stephens High School, Cindy earned several certificates in finance-related fields during her banking career. She is a member of St. Martin’s Lutheran Church in Maiden, where she has served on Church Council. Cindy has been Executive Director since 2009.

Belinda Crane-Isenhower, Accounting Manager  (828) 322-6333 Ext. 206  admin@wrchickory.org Belinda took an early retirement from her job of 17+ years with Princeton Management in June 2018, and became a WRC staff member in Dec 2018.  Belinda has 40+ years experience in the accounting field, and also has over 17 years experience in property management and construction development.  Belinda’s responsibility at WRC is to maintain the accounting system and WRC’s website.  Belinda is the 2nd oldest of 11 children and grew up on a small farm in the Montgomery County area of upstate New York.  She has been a resident of Catawba County since 1988, and was a single mom while her children attended school.  She has served in volunteer officer positions for the PTO programs, as well as being a “Band Mom” volunteer.  Belinda and Steve Isenhower live in Newton and both enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities.   

Joan Magee, Volunteer Coordinator volunteer@wrchickory.org 

IMG_2339Joan was born in Pennsylvania and moved to North Carolina some years ago.  She spent her working career in banking as a trust officer and vice president.  She has been volunteering at the Center for four years and is presently serving as Treasurer on the Women’s Resource Center Board of Directors. Joan became the Volunteer Coordinator in 2012. She has one son and three grandchildren who reside in Wilmington, NC.  Joan enjoys reading, jigsaw puzzles and traveling.

Kelley was born and raised in Catawba County and attended Appalachian State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science with a major in Psychology and a focus in Human Services. Since graduation she has served at several area non-profits, and has over 10 years experience working with the public. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, whitewater kayaking, and working on her family farm. 

Michelle Morgan, Resource Development Coordinator (828) 322-6333 Ext 203 resourcedevelopment@wrchickory.org

Michelle Morgan was born in Kentucky where she attended the University of Kentucky.  She has lived in the area for nearly twenty years. She has been very active in the community as a Michelle Morgan PictureGuardian ad Litem, (Court Appointed Child Advocate),and has served on the board of the Catawba Valley Guardian ad Litem Association as Fundraising Chairperson.  She has also been active in the Arts community serving on the Hickory Community Theater board, as well as the Western Piedmont Symphony’s board.  Michelle is a certified Pilates Instructor and an avid runner.  She has one daughter, who is an actress and musician living in New York City.  She is married to the love of her life, Bill, who is also very active in the community.
