Donate Pantry Products

The Personal Pantry at the Women’s Resource Center provides women and their families with the basics that can’t be purchased with food assistance programs.  And, not only does WRC provide the basics but it also provides these families with a return of their dignity and the ability to hold their heads up as they go about their daily lives with clean clothing, hair and personal hygiene.

It’s challenging to rely solely on donations to help keep the pantry stocked with these basic necessities.  At times monies that could be used to help a woman with transportation costs (bus passes and gas cards) as she conducts her job search must be used to purchase tampons and toilet paper.

So, How Can You And Your Community Help?

When shopping for your family, simply pick up an extra package of toilet paper, a tube of toothpaste , a box of feminine care items or an extra container of laundry detergent and drop it off at the Center. A list of the items most requested by our clients is below.

When meeting with your book club, civic organization or church group, ask the other members to donate the needed items just 2 times a year.  Ask the other parents and children at your child’s martial arts school or soccer games to bring one of the items on the Center’s wish list to the next class or game.

Just think of the difference you’ll make in the lives of a family just like yours, who find themselves struggling to make ends meet.  Together we can continue to help the Center “Change lives one woman at a time”.
