Hickory, NC – The Women’s Resource Center has recently been awarded a $25,000 grant from the Sisters of Mercy of North Carolina Foundation. The grant will be used for general operating support for WRC’s support services programs.

Since announcing in October 1996, that it was ready to begin receiving grant applications, the Foundation has awarded 660 grants totaling more than $31,800,000 to organizations serving unserved or underserved populations.
