Announcement: Journey Program Takes A Look At Creating Balance In Life

HICKORY, NC - Women’s Resource Center presents September’s “A Women’s Journey to Self” program focusing on Creating Balance in Life. The event will be held at Women’s Resource Center, and is for any woman going through a transition in her life or for women who are seekers. The group meets September 13, 2005 from 7:00-9:00pm at WRC. Women’s Resource Center is located at 125 3rd Street NE in Hickory. This monthly group will be facilitated by Gia Lupinacci-Maxson. The group is for women who are seeking something greater for their family and for their lives. The purpose is to create a safe haven where a woman can begin to develop her voice; create a wholeness of mind, body, and spirit; and discover a place of healing. This month’s meeting will focus on “Creating Balance in Life.” Participants should bring a journal.

Gia Lupinacci-Maxson holds a B.S. degree in Human Development and an M.S. degree in Education. She has worked with young children, adolescents, adults, senior citizens and the young at heart. Through her yoga instruction and holistic life coaching, she launched “Journey to Heart Center”.

Women’s Resource Center is a member agency of Catawba County United Way and has offered services and programs to women and families throughout the Unifour since 1986.
